Everything you need to know about Berwyn’s Oktoberfest

Berwyn’s Oktoberfest (sponsored by Paisans Pizzeria & Bar) will be here before you know it. To help you prepare for one of the biggest parties of the year, read on to discover everything you need to know about the festival.

WHEN:                 Friday, Sept. 18 from 6-11 p.m. & Saturday, Sept. 19 from 12-11 p.m.

WHERE:               Berwyn’s Depot District, at the intersection of Windsor Ave. & Grove Ave. just off the Metra BNSF line’s “Berwyn” station.

WHAT:                 There will be live music, foods from around the world, a beer garden, carnival rides, and more. On Saturday, the family pavilion welcomes a variety of interactive activities including face-painting, a bounce house, and other games aimed toward the younger crowd.

COST:                  Admission is free and open to the public.

FUN FACT:          The 182nd Annual Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany begins on Saturday, Sept. 19. If traveling to Europe to experience the “real deal” isn’t in the cards for you, take comfort in knowing you’ll be celebrating at the exact same time right here in Berwyn.
